Karuhn, Chicago Tribune LEXINGTON HOMES COMMON OPEN SPACE REQUEST The consensus of the Committee was to have the request of Lexington Homes to reduce the common open space to 45% be considered by the Plan Commission. REFUND OF OVERPAYMENT OF TAXES -- ALLENDALE INSURANCE The consensus of the Committee was to refund the overpayment of taxes by Allendale Insurance by crediting future tax payments by this company until the refund is complete. BUDGET INCREASE -- 1993-94 FISCAL YEAR The consensus of the Committee was to authorize the budget increase of $216,000. This item will appear on the April 26, 1994 Agenda. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETINGS -- 3rd TUESDAY The consensus of the Committee was to cancel the Committee of the Whole Meetings on the third Tuesday during the months of June, July and August. 2 - CHARLES J. ZETTEK MUNICIPAL BUILDING SIGNAGE The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the April 22 report from the Assistant Village Manager in the use of 6-inch and 9-inch letters. SPRUCE MEADOW PLAT OF SUBDIVISION The consensus of the Committee was the following: -- Have the letter of understanding presented to potential homeowners at the signing of the contract and at the time of closing; and -- Discuss with the developer a separate letter of understanding submitted to the Village that would ensure the preservation of trees on the site. CAPITAL REPLACEMENT FUND The Village Manager mentioned that staff is working on the establishment of a Capital Replacement Fund. EXECUTIVE SESSION A roll call was taken for an Executive Session (all AYES) .
