Karuhn, CHICAGO TRIBUNE ANIMAL TRAPS The consensus of the Committee was the following: -- Continue the practice of lending animal traps to residents subject to residents borrowing traps sign a form indicating their commitment to use an animal relocation company as referred by the Village to remove the animal . This form would also specify to the resident that the Village is not liable for any misuse of the trap; and -- Obtain prices for animal removal from Village traps from various animal relocation companies; MOBILE VENDING VEHICLES The consensus of the Committee was to take no action on this item and write a letter to Mr. Caroker stating the Village 's posture on this item. VILLAGE NEWSLETTERS The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass mailings of the residential and business newsletters provided that the following changes are made: - z - -- Correct a spelling error on the Muscular Dystrophy article; -- Clarify driveway apron replacement language; -- Specify that only single-family detached homes are impacted for white goods pickup. All other residents and businesses must refer to their own scavenger; -- Highlight programs and services offered to business in a separate article in the business newsletter; and -- Have the recycling article placed on first page of the business newsletter. CABLE TV FRANCHISE RENEWAL The consensus of the Committee was to accept those items in the June 7 report from the Cable Committee in preparation for the Village 's RFP to be submitted to Continental for consideration to review their franchise agreement.
