CAPITAL PROJECTS PROGRAM - CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the projects
listed in the June 3 report from the Director of Finance with the
following exceptions and changes:
-- Have Staff provide a report on the need for a
stormwater drainage study near Osco and the old Sears
building;
-- Place the request from the Custom Lot Association to
underground electrical facilities in the Capital
Projects Program in the amount of $625. 120;
-- Remove the reconstruction of "pozz" streets from the
program;
-- Reduce the budget for Boulevard Improvements -- Phase
III to reflect the contract price;
-- Increase the budget to $264,000 for the
bicycle/pedestrian overpass over Higgins Road;

-- Have Staff get more accurate estimates on the
local/residential drainage projects item and develop a
list of criteria to determine eligible projects for
funding;
-- Have Staff obtain costs for land and facilities for a
new fire station and training facility.
in addition, the consensus of the Committee was to have staff
research the feasibility of providing Ridge Avenue Street access
to residents on Banyon Drive.
CAPITAL PROJECTS PROGRAM - WATER & SEWER FUND
The consensus of the Committee was to approve projects listed
in the Water & Sewer Fund portion of the June 3 report. In
addition, the Village Manager noted that the Director of Public
Works will prepare a report on major capital projections for 10
years beyond our current 5-year plan.
CAPITAL PROJECTS PROGRAM - MUNICIPAL PURPOSE FUND
It was noted that the projects listed in this fund are
budgeted in the 1994-95 FY budget.
CAPITAL PROJECTS PROGRAM - GENERAL FUND
The consensus of the Committee was to approve projects listed
in the. General Fund portion of the June 3 report.
