IMMUNIZATION CLINIC SURCHARGE
The consensus of the Committee was to change the fee schedule
for inoculations to $2.00 for Elk Grove Village and Arlington
Heights residents and $6.00 for residents of all other
municipalities.
BOOSTER CLUB PARTICIPATION
The consensus of the Committee was to advertise in the Elk
Grove High School Booster Club Activity Book.
SINGLE-FAMILY ATTACHED REFUSE RATES
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass
mailing of the July 13 letter regarding refuse rates to all
single-family attached homes.
TRAILER PARKING IN BUSINESS DISTRICTS
The consensus of the Committee was to proceed with an
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance that would limit the amount of
time trucks/trailers can park in business zoned districts
adjacent to residential areas for a period of up to one week.
This restriction would apply to parking lot are-is only.

It was noted that this action will require a public hearing
before the Plan Commission with the JPZ Committee acting as the
petitioner.
BANNERS ON BIESTERFIELD
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- Install banners from Arlington Heights Road to Beisner;
-- Contact Commonwealth Edison regarding the installation
of banner hardware on Phase II lightpoles;
-- Have staff prepare a proposal on type and frequency of
banners; and
-- Have staff prepare a policy for community organizations
to hang banners at no cost to the Village; and
-- Have staff prepare a report on a plan to have the
banners hung, including cost, equipment and other
factors.
NEXTEL REQUEST FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- Authorize a Plan Commission public hearing on Nextel 's
request for a Special Use Permit; and
-- Have staff survey other communities on rental
terms of similar lease agreements.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
