RECYCLING BINS
The consensus of the Committee was to pursue the purchase of
18-gallon bins through the bid process. Residents not wanting an
18-gallon bin can exchange it for a 14-gallon bin after the 18
gallon-bins are distributed in late October.
TELEPHONE SOLICITATION FLYER
The village Manager noted that the flyer has already been
distributed. In addition, the Village will pursue televising
information on Channel 6.
CHANNEL 6 LOGO
The consensus of the Committee was to have the colored seals
of the Elk Grove Park District and Village placed side by side
for the logo design and to have Channel 6 pursue adding color to
the words "Channel 6" in the logo.

BANNERS ON BIESTERFIELD ROAD
The consensus of the Committee was to pursue the installation
of banners and holiday decorations on Biesterfield Road. In
addition, staff will advise the Park District and schools that
outside agencies can post banners within the guidelines of
Village Policy.
STUDENT-IN-GOVERNMENT PROGRAM
The Village President noted that the activities have been
scaled back from the previous year. A time schedule will be
distributed to the Village Board.
SCHAUMBURG SEPTEMBERFEST
The consensus of the Committee was to send a Fire Engine and
Police squad car for participation in the parade.
AMBULANCE USER FEES
This item will be placed on the next Committee of the Whole
agenda.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY FLYER
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass
distribution of the flyer as submitted.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN ELK GROVE
The consensus of the Committee was to let the work continue
as is.
BANYAN COURT RESURFACING PROJECT
The consensus was to resurface Banyan Court at a cost of
$2,500, using the Elk Grove Boulevard contractor. This will be a
new business item on the August 23, 1994 agenda .
SMOKING IN VILLAGE HALL
The consensus of the Board was to prohibit smoking in all
municipal facilities.
