MULTI-FAMILY REFUSE PRICING
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
- Establish prices for multiple family refuse collection
as recommended be the Recycling Committee;
- Place the multi-family refuse contract on the
October 11, 1994 Village Board agenda; and
- Notify multi-family residents of the new contract.
REVISED MEETING SCHEDULE
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
- Cancel the regularly scheduled November 8, 22 and
December 27 Village Board meetings; and
- Hold a Special Village Board meeting on November 15,
1994 at 8:00 pm.
TAXI CAB RATE INCREASE REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to hold a public hearing on
the request of American Taxi to increase taxi rates on October 25,
1994 at 7:45 pm.
NEW RECYCLING PROGRAM INFORMATION
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the Waste
Management Mass Mailing and Salvation Army Mass Mailing.
SALVATION ARMY COLLECTION VEHICLE REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to allow the temporary
placement of the Salvation Army Collection vehicle in the Grove
Mall parking lot until the center is redeveloped.
SMOKING POLICY
The consensus of the Committee was to prohibit smoking in all
municipal facilities with the following exceptions:
- Apparatus floor of the Fire Stations;
- Public Works garage;
- Police Officer lounge and pistol range;
- The east portion of the Municipal Building
lunchroom as designated by signage;
- Fire Administration smoking lounge; and
- Patio off the Municipal Building lunch room.
The revised policy will be placed on the October 11, 1994
Village Board agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 pm.
