PARADE COMMITTEE REPORT
Representatives from the Parade Committee were present to
discuss a proposal for a Village parade. The parade is
tentatively scheduled for the last day of Rotary Fest or August
13. The consensus of the Committee was to consider this proposal
during the budget process for fiscal year 95-96.
AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENT PROGRAM
The consensus of the Committee was to implement the automatic
bill payment program for the Village 's utility customers.

1994 TAX LEVY DETERMINATION
The consensus of the Committee was to increase the Village 's
tax levy by 3. 4% for a total increase in the aggregate Village
and Library levy of 3 . 4$ . The levy amounts are as follows:
Village $5,218,289
Library 2,094 , 711
7,313,000
Debt Service + 2,555,924
Total $9,868,924
This item will be on the November 15, 1994 Village Board Agenda .
BANYAN DRIVE/ELK GROVE BOULEVARD ALTERNATE ACCESS
The consensus of the Committee was to place this item in the
Capital Improvements Committee.
AMENDMENTS TO OPEN MEETINGS ACT
The consensus of the Committee was to defer this discussion
to a later date.
JAWA PRESENTATION
The consensus of the Committee was to defer discussion on
this item until after the 10125/94 Village Board meeting.
AMERITECH SPECIAL USE PERMIT PETITION
The consensus of the Committee was to consider Ameritech 's
Special Use Permit in conjunction with the JPZ Committee
discussion on future placement of communication towers and
antennae. Staff is to undertake a survey of: Elgin 's zoning
ordinance; tall buildings in Elk Grove; and a consultant versed
in antennae requirements and zoning regulations. In addition,
this item may also be considered by the Business Liaison Council .

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Tosto moved and Trustee Czarnik seconded a motion to
enter into Executive Session to discuss a matter of litigation.
Upon voting all AYES, the motion passed unanimously.
The Committee entered into Executive Session at 7:33 p.m.
