MULTI-FAMILY RECYCLING PROGRAMS
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- Accept Waste Management 's offer to replace the Village
owned 2-yard recycling dumpsters and roll-off containers
with Waste Management owned 90-gallon toters;
-- Declare all Village-owned multiple family recycling
containers as surplus, however, the Village will donate
these items to a sister governmental agency upon
request; and
-- Have staff determine if any governmental agencies have
a need for the surplus containers.

LEXINGTON LANDSCAPE PLAN
The consensus of the Committee was to grant a variation
approving the revised landscape plan, and to have Lexington Homes
plant the 30 trees required for the parkway on other Village
property as determined by the Village. This item will be placed
on the next Village Board agenda.
COMMERCIAL NEWSLETTER
The consensus of the Committee was to approve this mass
mailing with the addition of Busse Road construction work to the
Message from the Village President article.
RETIREMENT AWARDS
The consensus of the Committee was to amend the Personnel
Rules and Regulations with respect to eligibility requirements
for retirement awards as recommended by the Personnel Committee.
DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE ACT AND DRUG TESTING POLICY
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- to amend the Personnel Rules and Regulations to include
the requirements of the Drug Free Workplace Act and Drug
Testing Policy as recommended by the Personnel
Committee; and
-- Have the Village Attorney review the proposed
amendments.
This item will be placed on the next Village Board agenda .
JOINT VILLAGE BOARD/BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
The consensus of the Committee was to hold a joint Village
Board/Board of Health meeting on December 13 at 7 p.m. in meeting
rooms A, B & C.
