ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD SIGNAL INTERCONNECT
The consensus of the Committee was to pursue CMAQ funding
and funding from the Northwest Council of Mayors for the
interconnection of traffic signals on Arlington Heights Road.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD DUAL LEFT TURN LANES
The consensus of the Committee was to pursue dual left
turn lanes at southbound Arlington Heights Road to Landmeier.
GTE AIRPHONE TOWER REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to authorize a public
hearing on this request before the Plan Commission.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR TAXICAB OPERATORS
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Northwest
Municipal Conference review insurance levels for taxicabs.
BANYAN DRIVE/ELK GROVE BOULEVARD ACCESS
The consensus of the Committee was to survey residents
living in the Elk Grove Townhomes on Elk Grove Boulevard
requesting their feedback on the proposed sidewalk widening
and parkway tree relocation, which would allow access during
high water levels of Salt Creek.
RECODIFICATION AND TEXT AMENDMENTS - ZONING ORDINANCE
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the Plan
Commission 's recommendation on the text amendment and
recodification of the Zoning Ordinance. This item will be on
the next Village Board agenda.
COOKING WINES - RESTRICTION ON AVAILABILITY
The consensus of the Committee was to not take any action
on this item.
ELK GROVE BOULEVARD
The consensus of the Committee was to allow parking along
Elk Grove Boulevard during Federally designated holidays.
WATER AND SEWER INCREASES
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- Increase water and sewer rates as proposed
by the Director of Finance in a report
dated 12/2/94; and
-- Increase sewer rates for Branigar Estates
in the same proportion.
INFORMATION RELEASE TO PRESS
The consensus of the Committee was to release information
to the press after it has been discussed by the Village Board
at Committee of the Whole meetings.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
