UNFUNDED MANDATES
The Village Manager reported that Cook County
President Phelan will be holding a press conference at
10 a.m. on February 10 at the Hillside Holiday Inn to
discuss unfunded State mandates .
FIXED DIAL-A-RIDE ROUTE - MALLARD CROSSING
The consensus of the Committee was to establish a
fixed Dial-A-Ride route from the Village Grove to
Mallard Crossing Shopping Center on Mondays as
detailed in the Assistant Village Manager' s memorandum.
ALEXIAN BROTHERS MEDICAL CENTER - FEE WAIVER
The consensus of the Committee was to place the
Alexian Brothers Medical Center fee waiver request for
a building addition on the next agenda.
METROPOLITAN WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT LETTER
The Village Manager reported that the District' s
staff is researching the Village's proposal to connect
the Ridge Avenue lift station into the tunnel .
BUSSE DAM
The Village Manager reported that a letter is
being drafted between departments requesting the
addition of an apron or rip-rap on the outfall side
for safety purposes .
TIERNEY LITIGATION - BIESTERFIELD ROAD
The Village Manager reported that the judge
hearing the Tierney (Biesterfield Road) case accepted
Schaumburg' s motion to dismiss the case.
INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY GROUP ( ITG) CONTRACT
The Assistant Village Manager noted three minor
spelling and wording changes to the ITG contract on
this evening's consent agenda.
PICTURE FRAMES
The consensus of the Committee was to have the
pictures of Village officials in the Council Chamber
framed in consistent and quality picture frames as
presented by the Assistant Village Manager.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT - SELF EVALUATION
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with
the Personnel Committee's recommendation to have the
TDD number printed on all Village materials; to amend
the Village' s meeting room policy to accommodate
persons with disabilities; and to approve the self
evaluation.
MASQUE & STAFF
The Village Manager reported that Staff has a
meeting with a representative of Masque & Staff next
week.
