CHANNEL SIX VIDEOTAPING SWEARING-IN CEREMONY
The consensus of the Board was to grant the
request of Channel Six to videotape the May 11 Village
Board meeting.
PARKWAY TREES - COOK COUNTY RIGHTS-OF-WAY
The consensus of the Board was to maintain the
policy of not placing trees in County Rights-Of-Way.
MALLARD CROSSING PARKING LOT MODIFICATIONS
The consensus of the Committee was to have the
proposed parking lot restriping to 70 degrees at the
Eagle Food Store undergo a hearing by the Zoning Board
of Appeals .
ELK GROVE BOULEVARD - CAPITAL PROJECTS
The consensus of the Board was to defer
discussion on improvements to the Elk Grove Boulevard
Roadway until a later date.
FORTUNE BUSINESS CENTER
The consensus of the Committee was to allow
Fortune Business Center to use Howard Street for
stormwater detention at a maximum of 12-inches storage
in the cul-de-sac terminus .
BUSSE WOODS DAM
The consensus of the Committee was to write a
follow-up letter to the Cook County Chairman regarding
the status of the Village's request to improve Busse
Woods Dam.
TRUSTEE-ELECT ORIENTATION
The consensus of the Committee was to hold an
orientation for Board members on Tuesday, May 4 . The
orientation will include a tour of the Police Station,
Fire Station #7, and Landmeier Public Works Garage.
APPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
The consensus of the Committee was to have the
resolution appointing the new Village President as a
Director for the Joint Action Water Agency on the May
11 , 1993 Agenda and to have Staff prepare a memorandum
on the appointments necessary for the Northwest
Municipal Conference, Solid Waste Agency and Suburban
O'Hare Commission.
COOK COUNTY HUMAN RIGHTS ORDINANCE
The Village Manager reported that the Greater
O 'Hare Association is pursuing representation on the
Cook County Human Rights Board. No action is required
on the part of the Village.
CHECKERS RESTAURANT SPECIAL USE PERMIT - NEW BUSINESS
The Village Manager reported that authorization
for the Plan Commission to hold a public hearing for a
special use permit will be sought as a new business
item at the 4-27-93 Village Board meeting. The
special use permit is for the construction of a
Checkers Restaurant in an I-1 zoned district located
at the southwest intersection of Busse and Oakton.
The public hearing will be scheduled May 19, 1993 .
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Bosslet moved and Trustee Czarnik
seconded a motion to enter into Executive Session to
discuss Personnel . Upon voting, all AYES .
The meeting entered Executive Session at 7 : 38 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 8 p.m.
