SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL FRANCHISE AGREEMENT
The consensus of the Committee was to place this item in
the Recycling Committee.
WINNERS CIRCLE - OFF-TRACK BETTING FACILITY
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff arrange
for a tour of winners Circle facility.
JOINT ACTION WATER AGENCY - FACILITY TOUR
The Village Manager informed the Committee that a tour
of the JAWA facility is scheduled for June 29 at 11 am.
SCHMERLER FORD - CHEVROLET TENT SALE
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
- Approve the request of Schmerler Ford for a tent
sale on June 26 at the Elk Grove High School
conditional upon the exclusion of a cold air
balloon; and
Have staff contact Schmerler Ford to inform them
that a portable sign for advertising purposes
can be used in conjunction with the sale. This will
be brought up under New Business at the forthcoming
Village Board Meeting.
CHANNEL 6 "ELK GROVE EXCHANGE" BOARD MEETING CABLECASTS
The Village Manager reported receiving a letter from
Channel 6 specifying arrangements for the televising of Board
meetings and the "Elk Grove Exchange" . The consensus of the
Committee was to defer discussion on this item until a later
date. This item will be placed on a future Committee of the
Whole Agenda. In addition, the Village Board will not hold an
"Elk Grove Exchange" on July 2. The exchange will be held in the
fall .
CONCRETE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss waiving
the $25 permit fee for work under the Curb Replacement program
with the Director of Engineering & Community Development and
Director of Public Works. This item will be placed on a future
Committee of the Whole Agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
