Biesterfield Street Banners
The Committee discussed changing the Fall banners with the
"Character Counts ! " banners for Character Counts ! Week in
October.
The consensus of the Committee was to leave the Fall
banners in place and to use the Character Counts! banners
in January as originally planned.
COMMUNITY SERVICE SUGGESTION BOX
The Committee discussed a consideration of the Community
Service Board to institute a Suggestion Box program. The
primary focus of the program would be to have residents
submit ideas for services and programs that the Community
Service Board could institute.
After deliberation, the consensus of the Committee was to
move forward with the Suggestion Box program with the
stipulations that:
• Staff would not be responsible for providing responses to
suggestion cards;
• All boxes would be placed in indoor locations; and
• The Community Service Board will be responsible for
collecting the cards.
SISTER CITY SIGNAGE
The Committee discussed the idea of placing a Sister City
sign below the Village's current entryway signs.
After discussion, the consensus was that staff should move
forward and add the sign to the base of the entryway signs.
SOUTH SUBURBAN AIRPORT NEWSLETTER
The Committee discussed the articles for the upcoming
Special Edition South Suburban Airport newsletter.
Following minor changes, the consensus of the Committee was
for staff to proceed with the production of the newsletter.
The meeting adjourned at 10:03 p.m.
