Cable towns. His goal is to have 55% penetration overall by year's
end and to reduce cable cuts (which result in service outages) by
50%. During 1984 there were 148 outages, 95 by contractors cutting
the cables.
Eric Schultz agreed to provide a list of excess equipment to
Jack Claes and Jim Petri. Joan Gundlach began in January as the
Community Access Programming Director with a staff of three full-time
people and five part-time interns. The goal of 10 hours of original
programming per month per community will be met by July 1, 1985.
