Chief Engelbrecht stated that the Code is only enforced when a vehicle is "parked across a side- walk for an extended period of time" , i .e. a recreational vehicle. Following discussion the consensus was to let the policy remain in effect and to enforce the Code provision only upon complaint and/or in instances where vehicles are left across the walk for an extended period of time. PRIVATE SECURITY - ASSOCIATION PROPERTY Trustee Gallitano requested that the other Board Members consider the possibility of permitting private security personnel , employed by a homeowners' association, to use police radios or to use citizen band radios which the Police Department would monitor. The discussion focused on types of crime committed in the Planned Unit Development area; the safety of security personnel ; use of Village equipment to assist private protection personnel ; equitable treatment of all private property; and liability concerns. Consensus of the members was to deny the request for radios or monitoring of radios by the Police Department. NON-GAMBLING BLACKJACK TABLES The P & S Company (Elk Grove Holiday Inn) requested permission to have recreational blackjack tables in their new restaurant/lounge (formerly Todds) for non-gambling, entertainment only, purposes. Consensus was to grant permission and to have the site frequently monitored by the Police Department.
