PECORA ANNEXATION
The Village Attorney provided an update of the
Pecora court case. The Village will remain in the suit.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING ADDITION PLANS
The Assistant Village Manager presented the
proposed building addition plans for review by the President
and Board of Trustees . Discussion centered on restroom
facilities , handicapped access , conference rooms , lunchroom
size, inclusion of a flagpole, the addition of a changing
table in the women' s restroom near the courtroom, and build-
ing security.
Two variations from the Village Zoning Ordinance will
be required - a twenty-five (25 ft. ) foot building setback line
variation (on Wellington Avenue) , and a reduction in the number
of required loading spaces from two to one space.
Copies of the plans were distributed to each member.
Additional comments from the Village Board are to be called
in by the end of the week. Direction was given to Gary
Parrin to have the architect prepare detailed building plans.
Groundbreaking may be as soon as late October.
