Meeting commenced at 10: 52 p.m.
BUS SERVICE
President Zettek noted that some area communities
have PACE subsidized bus services and that Staff will be
preparing a proposal for PACE funding.
LETTERS
Village Manager Willis asked if there were any
objections to two (2 ) letters being sent. One dealt with
Civil Defense, the other with Health Department. No
objections were made.
ABMC' s OFFICE SPACE AT LIVELY JR. HIGH
Personnel at ABMC have informed the Village that
they have an office lease agreement with the Park District
to utilize the Lively Jr. High facility for physical therapy
and psychiatric counseling services . Trustee Petri suggested
that the Village attempt to secure use of work-out equipment
and provision of psychiatric counseling for Fire and Police
personnel.
STOP SIGNS
The Village has received a request from the Park
District for stop signs at two ( 2 ) locations where golf
carts cross University Drive.
DEVELOPMENT
A development company has contacted the Village
about plans to develop the 77-acre site north of Devon
Avenue, east of I-290 . At this time the developer has
indicated a desire to have single family custom lots ,
multi-family use and corporate offices .
INTERCHANGE PUBLIC HEARING
Mr. Willis informed the members that IDOT will
be conducting a public hearing on the proposed inter-
change at Biesterfield Road. The hearing will be at
the Village Hall on Thursday, October 10 , 1985 , at
7 :30 p.m.
