PARKVIEW HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENTS
Mr. Willis explained the reasons that he and the
Assistant Village Engineer were recommending that the
Village accept partial improvements in the Parkview Heights
Subdivision, namely: only minor items need to be done on
the punch list; the improvements might have been completed
prior to the winter season if Staff had returned their re-
view comments sooner; a maintenance bond in a sufficient
amount is held by the Vilalge.
This is Item 6B on the January 14 , 1986 Agenda.
Consensus was to approve .
INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES
Mr. Willis indicated that members had received copies
of a memorandum from George Coney to him recommending that the
Village contract for interior design services with regard to
the Municipal Building addition. Mr. Willis stated that he
would bring up the matter under New Business at the Village
Board meeting.
EXCESS LIABILITY INSURANCE POOL
Consensus was to participate in the study.
The January 21 , 1986 Committee of the Whole meeting
was cancelled by consensus and will be confirmed at the
Village Board meeting.
The meeting was recessed for the 8 p.m. Village Board
meeting and began again at 9 : 23 p.m.

ROTARY FESTIVAL
The several requests from the Rotary Club, enumerated
in a memorandum by Robin Weaver regarding its May Festival,
were discussed. Consensus was to deny use of Lindahl Field,
but suggest the use of an area south of Lindahl Field with
Park District permission; grant $4 , 000 for entertainment
and cake on Elk Grove Village 30th Anniversary Night. Any
officials/ceremony that evening should be arranged by the
Rotary Club.
The meeting ended at 9: 56 p.m.
