JOINT ACION WATER AGENCY
A video-tape collage of television coverage, relative to
the JAWA start-up, was shown. Clips included Mr. Willis' Channel 6
cable discussion of possible discoloration and presence of extra
chlorine, Chicago station coverage of the water turn-on ceremony,
and Channel 6 cable interviews of Mr. Willis and Mr. Zettek.
BIESTERFIELD ROAD INTERCHANGE
Trustee Gallitano asked whether or not a sidewalk will be
installed over Biesterfield Road when the interchange is constructed.
Mr. Willis responded that although IDOT will design the interchange,
the Village has made a request that a sidewalk be included. The
cost for it may not be accepted by IDOT.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOOKLETS
Trustee Petri requested that copies of the Economic Develop-
ment booklets be given to Jim Heffern and Jack Claes for distribution
by them overseas. Consensus agreed.
CONGREGATE SENIOR HOUSING
The Plan Commission had asked the Village Board for a joint
meeting to discuss congregate senior housing. (President Zettek noted
that the Plan Commission is in an awkward position on congregate
senior housing because issues are beyond zoning and land use decisions. )
The date and time selected is February 11 , 1986 at 6:30 p.m. , prior to
the Village Board meeting.

Trustee Tosto asked that on February 11 , 1986, also,
the Committee of the Whole discuss utilities along Devon Avenue
and possible annexation on Center Street, after the Village Board
meeting that night. President Zettek stated that he is diametrically
opposed to annexing two homes on Center Street.
Meeting adjourned for Village Board meeting at 8 p.m.
