Consensus was to go ahead with both items as new business. STRAWBERRY HILL PLAZA (NW corner Meacham & Biesterfield Roads) Trustee Hauser raised concerns regarding the Strawberry Hill Plaza variation requests. He stated his preference that the Board vote on variation recommendations forwarded from the Zoning Board of Appeals and Plan Commission prior to voting on the sign variation. He also raised concerns regarding the finished grade level on the north property line and the apparent agreement with the Roundtree Homeowners Association. Trustee Hauser requested that a letter from the Association be acquired. FIRE SAFETY LETTER Mr. Willis requested permission for a mass mailing letter from Chief Henrici to be mailed. Permission was granted. . . . . .continued. . . . . . . CENTER STREET ANNEXATION Discussion took place regarding the possible annexation of two, non-contiguous residences on Center Street. Previously, annexation agreements like this have been made only when it would benefit the Village. President Zettek stated that he saw no reason to annex these properties under these conditions where only sanitary sewer would be installed now, and all other improve- ments at a later date, dependent upon annexation of other properties. Trustee Chernick noted that the annexation agreement being worked out for these two properties could act as an incentive for other properties to annex and set the terms/conditions for future annexation of the entire subdivision. Consensus was to wait until Trustee Petri was present to discuss the issue further.
