CROW/CHASEWOOD
The Village Board discussed the following items in the draft
annexation agreement distributed on July 29, 1986.
Page 6, Item 1 (1 ) : This section will indicate the variance for
one (1 ) building only.
Item 2(2) : Remove Mana er and insert Board
Page 7 Item l (1 ) : Remove "whichever is lesser". Add language which
notes the variance is for two (2) office buildings
Parcel 3 and 4: Remove "all fast food restaurants"
Page 9, Item 1 (1 ) Rewrite as follows: . . . .are equipped with a fire
suppression sprinkler system which may be approved
plastic pipes. . . .
Page 10, Item 5 If required by code, have the recreational building
and rental office constructed with a sprinkler system
The parking structures may require sprinklers , so
Parcel 1 should comply with the building code.
Page 13, Item 13: Delineate the financial obligations for the Devon
Avenue/Park Blvd signal : Itasca 25%; Cook County 50%;
Crow Chasewood 25%.
Page 21 Donation of Land: The Village will discuss with Crow-Chasewood
a reduction in the 10% land donation. In return,
the remaining acreage would be landscaped, under the
direction of the Park District, and used for passive
recreation. That would discourage traffic and active
recreational facilities (soccer fields, ball diamonds)
If Crow Chasewood is receptive to the concept, the
Village will contact the Elk Grove Park District to
determine whether Park District will entertain the
proposal .
