CUT-THROUGH TRAFFIC
A video tape of traffic on Plum Grove Road and in
the Westgate and Stockbridge Subdivisions was shown to members
of the Committee.
The meeting adjourned for the 8 p.m. Village Board
meeting.
The meeting resumed at 10:55 p.m.

LIQUOR LICENSE REQUEST
President Zettek informed the others that Jack Claes
of the Park District has informally requested permission
to serve alcohol at Pirate's Cove and the Leisure Fitness
Centre. Following discussion the consensus was to permit
wine and beer at the Fitness Centre and at private parties
held at Pirate's Cove. Requests for serving hard liquor
for special occasions would be evaluated on a separate basis.
CUT-THROUGH TRAPPIC
Members discussed the various options available to
handle the large amount of traffic present in the Westgate
and Stockbridge subdivisions. Alternatives reviewed were:
1) remove the existing turn prohibition signs;
2) install signs on Julie Drive and Unversity Lane
to prohibit turns onto Plum Grove Road during evening
rush hours;
3) cause Biesterfield to connect with Wise Road.
Staff was directed to determine a "ballpark" cost
estimate for extending Biesterfield Road to Wise Road.
