Parrin, Assistant Village Manager Dues for Greater Woodfield Convention & Tourism Bureau Concern was expressed for the escalating cost for dues since it is 8% of hotel/motel tax. In 1985, dues were $17,900 and in 1988 the dues are estimated to be $32,500. Consensus is to pay the 1987 dues and wait for the completion of the convention center study to determine costs N to Elk Grove Village. Fences The Village Clerk will advise petitioners, seeking r` variations to place a fence within the 25' setback, that a the Judiciary, Planning & Zoning Committee is reviewing the current restrictions to determine whether the ordinance should be amended. F C G� TANNING BOOTH ORDINANCE F� The ordinance will be reviewed by JPZ for its final content. CONGREGATE HOUSING (� JPZ will discuss the ordinance at its next meeting. NWMC a The Conference wants a more centrally located site for its offices. NWMC will not need the Village's 2 acres. ' Cr CAB FRANCHISE f . At the next VB meeting the Attorney will be directed to prepare the Certificate of Authorization. The petitioner is to have a minimum of three cabs licensed, and will be requested to enter into an agreement with the Village to provide taxicab service for seniors and handicapped. STORAGE OF TAPES The Village Board meeting tapes are to be retained and not destroyed. RETIREMENTS A department can provide cake and coffee for an employee r retirement. Do not differentiate between supervisors and rank and file. CUTTING OF BIESTERFIELD R-O-W Continue with the current program. Do not extend or eliminate the right-of-way mowing. EXEMPT RANKS To be discussed in executive session on July 7. LINE-OF-SIGHT To be discussed at the July 7 Committee of the Whole Meeting. BOYAJIAN The text amendment and rezoning request will be discussed at the July 7 Committee of the Whole meeting. BICYCLE SAFETY EDUCATION PROGRAM The Board felt that the program was excellent and needed no further presentation by the Police Department. Mario/Lively Subdivision The Board concurred with allowing Gullo to enclose a Village-owned drainage ditch and in return be permitted to pave the easement to provide additional parking for his tenant. An agreement will be prepared by Gullo for Village review and signature. ESCORT SERVICE The Police Department is to resume its escort service for the Fox Run employee making deposits at the Bank of Elk Grove.
