CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION
Representatives of Continental Cablevision explained their
plans to purchase American Cablesystems. They further detailed
their corporate operations.
The meeting adjourned to the Village Board meeting and
resumed at 9 p.m.

DRCEMBER 24 Work Schedule
At President Zettek's recommendation, consensus agreed
to permit non-essential general personnel to leave work at 12
Noon on Thursday, December 24, with full pay.
DECEMBER 15 Committee of the Whole Meeting
Consensus was reached to cancel the Tuesday, December 15,
1987, Committee of the Whole meeting.
CABLE FRANCHISE FRES
Members agreed to the schedule proposed by the Director
of Finance to turn over cable franchise fees to the Elk Grove
Park District.
FLOOD LOSSES - PERSONAL ITEMS
At the recommendation of the Village Manager, Members agreed
to reimburse employees for personal items lost from their offices
during the August 14, 1987 flood with proof of current replacement
receipt. The amount of reimbursement per item would not exceed
the estimated cost listed on the tally sheet already prepared.
The meeting was adjourned to Executive Session at 9:30 p.m.
