FENCE REGULATIONS
The February 1 , 1988 memorandum from the Building Commissioner
regarding revisions to the fence regulations was discussed. Consensus
agreed with the revisions with one change, as suggested by the
Assistant Village Manager: to continue to permit a fence to be on
the property line in backyards which are on a major arterial street.
The Building Commissioner is to prepare the ordinance with the
Village Attorney.
LAND ACQUISITION - FOREST PRESERVE 33 ACRES
President Zettek stated his belief that the Cook County Forest
Preserve will dedicate the land needed for ramps for the 1-290/Biesterfield
Road interchange at no cost to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
