FENCES
Consensus that the fence should not be allowed to extend to
the front of the house. In addition, in those instances where a lot
is bordered by the rear yard of two other homes, those two homes
could not extend the fence beyond the building set-back line.

Consensus is that fences along rear yards, on major arterials,
should have the ability to locate the fence up to the property line as
is in the present ordinance.
Interior lots can only extend fences to back of the house.
Homes on major arterials may be taken to the front of the house.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Ian Gray and Nancy Carlson appeared to discuss their level
of activity. Due to an increase in activity, they are spending more
than 50% of their time on Village projects. Developed a work load that
extends beyond their current contract .
Gallitano questioned how to measure the success of our
economic development program over the past 3 years. Need to somehow
see or measure the return to the Village.
Ian noted that he and Nancy are currently spending 75% of
their time on Village programs. They will prepare a written request
for Village consideration.
S.B. 1862
NWMC is proposing to print a full -page ad thanking those
S.B. 1862 (continued)
legislators who helped to resolve our concerns with the sales tax
reform legislation.
Consensus to put Village' s name in the ad.
Meeting ended at 9: 15 p.m.
