ELIC GROVE VILLAGE MAP
A representative from the Boosters Club asked if the Village
would be interested in financially contributing to the printing
and mailing of a Village map to all residents.
Consensus was not to contribute.
COANCKWEALTH EDISON COMPANY
The Assistant Village Manager advised the Village Board
that since the last Village Board meeting Commonwealth Edison
has:
- Engineered 60% of the area requiring cable replacement
(10 sections of which 6 are engineered).
- Construction started at Devon Avenue.
- On Wednesday, will begin at Brantwood.
- Private contractor was retained to do the augering.
- Engineering drawings are being completed on overtime.
- Can do approximately 500 feet of cable installation per
day. There is nearly 20,000 total feet to install.
- Will take approximately 2-3 months to complete the project.
Board asked to find out when Morrison/Kennedy will be completed
with new street light cable. Staff is also to inquire when
the excavation at Wellington and Somerset will be repaired.

Prior to the 9:15 p.m. Executive Session, Tosto, Petri
and Bosslet noted that they have no objection to using the
8" concrete walk, 18 inches wide, adjacent to the curb between
two intersecting sidewalks. However, if the ruts are destroying
the triangle to such an extent that the 8" walk is insufficient,
then the staff should make the determination as to filling
in the entire triangle.
Hauser noted that he advised the Manager that staff should
make the determination as to which method should be used.
