LAND ACYJDISITICH
Next Tuesday, an Executive Session will be held with the
Elk Grove Park District regarding land acquisition.
RIESTERFIELD ESTERSICK
The type of fence to be used as a buffer between the roadway
and residential properties Pas shown to those present.
WELL WATER
Cech explained the temporary loss of water pressure. A
sensor read a loss of pressure and shut off booster pumps. As
the system started to read loss of pressure, it triggered a
'domino effect' of shutting off booster pumps.
Tosto noted that the Capital Improvements Committee will
be discussing whether to retain more than 5 wells.
RERGR/CDTTER
Police Chief recommended removal of the "No Right Turn"
sign at Cutter and Nerge Road. Consensus to remove the sign
due to Plum Grove closure.
Manager discussed the complete closing of Plum Grove Road
between Nerge and Julie. Windemere and Kingsport would use Wise
extension to enter and exit the subdivisions. Consensus to support
the Plum Grove closure.
If signage on Wise extended and Biesterfield Road does
not discourage traffic from seeking access to Plum Grove Road,
further steps are to be taken to limit access to Windemere and
Kingsport residents only.
ZDOT/SGV AGREEMNT
The agreement for the Biesterfield/I-290 interchange will
be discussed at the Committee of the Whole meeting on August
16.
Following Village Board meeting:
OAKTCHIN.TLDNOOD STOP SZGP
Consensus to re-install the stop sign at Oukton Street
and Wildwood. Ordinance to be prepared for the 8-23-88 VB meeting.
ARMC
Alexian Brothers Medical Center will host a meeting to
discuss the findings of its consultant who studied the August
14, 1987 flood.
