WEBB PROPERTY
The developer of the Webb property (formerly Webb/Schmitt)
is required to install an additional water line to loop the
subdivision system (O'Hare International Center for Business) .
The developer has requested that the Village allow the installation
of the public improvement without a letter of credit, providing
that the water line is completed by January 1 , 1989. If the
water line is not completed by January 1 , 1989 the developer
would then submit a letter of credit.
Following discussion, the Village Board determined that
the developer must have a letter of credit for the public
improvement. It was noted that the Village has never waived the
performance letters of credit in the past.
BEAUPRE PROPERTY/COOK COUNTY REZONING
Members discussed the petition before the Cook County
Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the proposed rezoning and special
use of the property located at the Southwest corner of Biesterfield
and Martha in unincorporated Elk Grove Township.
The Village has until November 9 to submit a formal
objection to the petition.
