RESIDENCY POINTS FOR FIRE AND POLICE CANDIDATES
Members discussed a proposed reduction in bonus points for
fire and police candidates living in Elk Grove Village. In 1984, a
five-point bonus program was established.
Consensus was to decrease the bonus to a three (3) point
level for fire and police candidates living in Elk Grove Village.
POLICE RESPONSE TO SELECTED CALLS
Members reviewed and discussed a proposal to discontinue
responding to police calls which do not require technical or
professional police talent.
Consensus was to continue with the current policy to respond
to all calls, with the exception of police response or escort service
for selected fire and ambulance calls.
