POSTING OF SIGNS
Consensus of the Board was to prohibit election signs
on public rights-of-way and fences. Election signs are permitted
on private property.
KIMBALL HILL
Members discussed the need for Kimball Hill to share
in the cost of extending Park Boulevard to Biesterfield Road.
Also, Kimball Hill should provide land for some recreational
amenities.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD/NW INTERCHANGE
The IDOT study on the pedestrian walkway over Higgins
Road should be ready in January.
NORTHWEST CENTRAL DISPATCH
Members discussed the status of Elk Grove Village in
relation to the relocation of Northwest Central Dispatch.
Consensus was to direct Staff to compare the cost of
staying with NW Central Dispatch or provide our own dispatching
services with the current level of equipment sophistication.
