IRTERGOVERRMHRTAL vs. LOCAL DISPATCH CASTS
Members reviewed and discussed Staff's report and
recommendation to continue to participate in the Northwest Central
Dispatch System and not establish a local dispatching operation.
Members questioned various issues such as staffing, radio
frequencies, sophistication of equipment, and the funding
requirements for Enhanced 9-1-1.
Following discussion, consensus was to stay with Northwest
Central Dispatch and seek voter approval of an E 9-1-1 system
by calling for a referendum to be placed on the April ballot.
COMPRRSATION RRQUSST FROM BALTIMORE RSSIDRRTS
Consensus was to discuss and prepare a response within
the next five or six weeks.

Consensus was to authorize Staff to proceed with the sale of
Well Site N4.
