LIBRARY BUILDING
Mark West was present to review the design and
architectural compatibility of the new Library building. Zettek
noted that a plaque or other appropriate remembrance for Robert
Lindahl should be on the site.
The Library will consider a sidewalk between the Grove
Mall and the east end of the Library parking lot.
TRAFFIC SIGNALS
The need for pedestrian-activated crossing signals for
the new traffic signal at the Elk Crossing/Grove Mall driveways
was discussed. The Village Engineer will be asked to discuss
the interconnection of the signals with the Wellington and
Arlington Heights signal. Also, the need for a pedestrian
crossing at the driveways will be discussed.
1703 BIESTERFIELD
The Village Board received a copy of the sales contract
and ordinance authorizing the execution of the contract for
the Village-owned home at 1703 West Biesterfield Road. The
ordinance will be a New Business item.
