CABLE T.V.
Trustee Petri informed the Committee that the Cable
Consortium is examining the possibility of having a consultant
gather information and draft a response to an FCC inquiry on
the cable television industry. The consensus of the Committee
was to wait until after the February 8, 1990 Cable Consortium
meeting before reaching a decision on the matter.
RXRCOTTVR SESSZON
Trustee Czarnik moved and Petri seconded a motion to enter
into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing litigation.
Upon voting all Ayes, the meeting recessed into Executive Session
at 7:05 p.m.
The meeting reconvened from Executive Session at 7:50

EXPOSITION CENTER RESOLUTTON
Trustee Gallitano expressed concern that the wording of
the proposed resolution would commit the Village to contributing
the entire 2% tax to the Exposition Authority, even if the
total tax money exceeded the amount required.
It was the consensus of the Committee to amend the last
sentence in the resolution by adding the phrase, "at an amount
not to exceed that established by the Village".
