BALEFILL LETTERS
The Village Manager informed the Committee that individual
letters supporting the Balefill project will be needed from the
Board members. Consensus of the Committee was to have Staff prepare
the letters.
O'HARE RUNWAY EXPANSION REFERENDUM
Consensus of the Committee was to have a referendum question
on the November ballot asking Elk Grove residents if they favor
additional runways at O'Hare Airport.
BIESTERFIELD ROAD REPORT
Consensus of the Committee was for Staff to prepare a
request-for-proposal for the awarding of a contract to a civil
engineering firm for the preparation of plans for improving
Biesterfield Road.

I-290 INTERCHANGE
The Village Manager informed the Committee that the contractor
who is constructing the I-290 Interchange will be working 24 hours
a day, and as long as the contractor's operations do not violate
the Village' s noise or vibration standards the Village has no
control over the time of day the contractor performs the work.
In addition, the Committee discussed whether weight limit
restrictions can be applied to Biesterfield Road. Consensus of
the Committee was for Staff to prepare a report on placing weight
limit restrictions on Biesterfield Road between Rohlwing Road
and Arlington Heights Road.
