LIQUOR SERVER' S TRAINING PROGRAM
Consensus of the Committee was to delay enforcement of
the required Liquor Server' s Training Program until January
1 , 1991.
MOTOR FREIGHT TERMINAL
Consensus of the Committee was to object formally at
the Cook County 'Zoning Board of Appeals hearing at which an
industrial use is being requested for a motor freight
company on the north side of Devon Avenue, west of Salt
Creek.
PACE ROUTE 416
Consensus of the Committee was to concur with PACE on
the elimination of Route 416, and consolidation of the
Grove Mall to Woodfield route with Route 699 .
WELL SITE 44
Consensus of the Committee was to proceed with the
selling of Well Site #4 to Chicago Magnet Wire.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISPLAY
Consensus of the Committee was to authorize the
purchase of a new economic development visual display unit.
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
Consensus of the Committee is to meet on Tuesday, June
19, at 7 p.m. , to prioritize the spending of Capital
Projects funds.
BIESTERFIELD INTERCHANGE TRUCK TRAFFIC
Consensus of the Committee was not to seek to have
IDOT place restrictions on late hour truck traffic related
to construction of the Biesterfield Interchange.
Most complaints received by the Village are from
Itasca Meadows.
COURT ROOM
Consensus of the Committee was for Staff to prepare
cost estimates for moving the Fire Department into the
vacant Court Room. The prices are to include lowering the
ceiling and installing carpeting. No funds are to be
expended without prior Village Board approval.
COIN-OPERATED AMUSEMENT DEVICES
Consensus of the Committee was for the Village
Attorney to remove the words "such as" from the
recreational use section and add "hotels/motels" as uses
allowed to have coin-operated amusement devices.
The Attorney is also to review other changes
recommended by the Plan Commission.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Consensus of the Committee was not to undertake a
strategic planning session at this time.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
A motion was made by Trustee Bosslet and seconded by
Trustee Czarnik to enter into executive session for the
purpose of discussing litigation. The meeting entered
executive session at 8: 25 p.m.
