INCOME TAX SURCHARGE
It was the consensus of the Committee to use the income
tax surcharge funds as follows:
Boulevard Ditches (Cypress to Tonne) :
$1 ,000,000 for lining the ditch (smooth concrete, not
pillow) , repair of headwalls, repair/replacement of
storm sewer connection points, and landscaping.
Library:
$150,000 for flood-proofing and $100,000 for remodeling
(Fire Department).
The balance of the funds, $350,000, will be earmarked for
additional maintenance, repair and improvements of Village
thoroughfares.
