VILLAGE MANAGER'S SALARY
The consensus of the Committee was to meet in
Executive Session following the village Board meeting to
discuss the Village Manager' s salary treatment.
AMOCO TANK FARM ANNEXATION
President Zettek reported that he will write a letter
to Des Plaines discussing the potential annexation of the
site by Elk Grove.
TOWER TOWN CLOCK
Consensus of the Committee was not to purchase a tower
town clock.
SPONSOR OF PARK DISTRICT PARADE
Consensus of the Committee was that the Village should
not serve as a sponsor for the Park District' s 25th
Anniversary celebration but we will enter a float in the
parade.
TELEVISING VILLAGE BOARD MEETINGS
Consus of the Committee was for Channel 6 to televise
a Village Board meeting when a special event is scheduled
such as Blood Donor Awards night.
ADVERTISE BOARD MEETINGS ON COMMUNITY EVENTS SIGN.
Consensus of the Committee was that a message stating
the day and time of Village Board meetings should be on the
Community Events sign on the day of the meeting.
(Example: Village Board Meeting, Tonight, S p.m. )
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
The Village President reported that the Village will
no longer be using the services of INDAB International and
will soon be recruiting an in-house economic development
person.
VILLAGE ATTORNEY OFFICE HOURS
The Village President requested that the Village
Attorney consider establishing specific office hours at the
Village Hall so that the Attorney would be available to
Staff.
CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINE ORDINANCE
The Village President inquired into where this item is
in Committee.
