AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS
Consensus of the Committee was to order a 20" a 24"
aerial photograph of the Village Hall.
CONVENTION CENTER HOTEL/MOTEL TAX
The Village President reported that the new Marriott
Suites Hotel in Elk Grove supports the proposed 2�
hotel/motel tax.
CHILDREN' S ADVOCACY CENTER FUNDS
Consensus of the Committee was for the Village to
donate $2 , 400 to the Children' s Advocacy Center .
RECYCLING LETTERS
The Chairman of the Recycling Committee reported that
a letter to the Greater O'Hare Association has been
drafted for the Village President ' s signature. The
consensus of the Committee was for the letter to be mailed
to the Greater O'Hare Association.
In addition, the Chairman of the Recycling Committee
reported that a letter has been drafted denying the use of
the Village ' s Dierking Terrace site to a company which
requested the use of chat site.
LITTER IN CLARK PARK
Trustee Gallitano reported that a large number of
empty alcoholic beverage cans are littering Clark Park.
The consensus of the Committee was for the Police
Department to watch now and in the spring for people
drinking alcoholic beverages in Clark Park.
LANDMEIER FIRE STATION - FLOOR DRAIN REPAIR
The Village Manager reported that the Public Works
Department has estimated that the floor drains can be
repaired by Public Works at a cost of $3 , 800.
AMOCO TANK FARM ANNEXATION
The Village Manager reported that the Village is
awaiting Amoco' s response to the requested fire
suppression equipment.
ADDITIONAL REVENUES
The consensus of the Committee was for the Finance
Department to prepare a report on property tax revenues
collected (by fund) over the past three years , and to
survey neighboring communities ' sales tax rates.
In addition, the consensus of the Committee was to
discuss these items at the October 16
Committee-of-the-whole Meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8 : 55 p.m.
