GUARDRAILS - INTERSECTION OF BIESTERFIELD & ROHLWING
The consensus of the committee was to discuss the
request for guardrails at the intersection of Biesterfield &
Rohlwing at a later date.
CHRISTMAS DECORATION WINNER SIGNS
Consensus of the committee was for the Village to
make signs designating the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners
of the Christmas Decoration Contest.
CONTINENTAL CABLE REPORT
The Village President noted that John Hartinger,
Continental Cablevision, will be present at the November 27
Committee of the Whole Meeting to discuss cable rates and other
items with the Trustees.
CHIMNEY FIRE LETTER
The Village Manager reported that the Fire
Department has prepared a letter educating residents on how to
prevent chimney fires. The consensus of the committee was for
the Fire Department to proceed with the distribution of the
information.
BALEFILL TRANSFER STATION APPROVED
The Village President reported that the Cook County
Board approved the Balefill Transfer Station near Des Plaines.
The meeting adjourned at 7 : 40 p.m.
