CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION PRESENTATION
John Hartinger, Continental Cable, updated the Village
Board on Continental' s activities during 1990 and planned
activities for 1991 . In addition, Hartinger noted that rates for
the Basic Service ( 36 Channel) and Limited Service ( 52 Channel)
will increase $2. 00 per month effective March 1, 1991.
SENIOR CITIZEN TAXI PROGRAM LETTER
The consensus of the committee was to approve the
mailing of the letter as submitted by the Village Manager with
two changes: the letter should refer to the PACE ID as the
RTA/PACE ID, and the letter should inform residents to phone
Community Service to obtain information on where to obtain the
RTA/PACE ID.
GUARDRAIL AT BIESTERFIELD AND ROHLWING
The consensus of the committee was to hire a consultant
traffic engineer to recommend possible alternatives to the
guardrail and to advise whether a guardrail is the best method of
protecting the area.
