PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 17. 2002 this Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s)of review for release: June. 2003 Date of approval for release: gr A)o yo o y 12/17/02 7:06 p.m. Land Acquisition The Mayor reported that a new zoning classification will be brought to the Board for consideration in January 2003. The"Industrial Recreation District'will be established for recreation areas within the Business Park as part of the effort to enhance the Park under the Industrial/Commercial Revitalization Commission. The Mayor reported that the Village expects to close on the acquisition of vacant land at the Rogers Industrial Park area to provide recreation opportunities and drainage improvements. Staff has estimated that installing lightning and tornado warning devices would cost $17,000. The Mayor noted that this equipment currently serves recreation areas throughout the residential areas of the Village and can be funded by the ICRC Fund. The consensus of the Board was to proceed as proposed. The meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
