Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on November 19, 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

Litigation
The Mayor updated the Board on O'Hare litigation, and reported the
Appellate Court remanded a suit to Judge Webster, who reaffirmed her
opinion that Chicago is required to obtain State approval for runway
construction.
The Mayor reported that SOC has assembled a legal team that is expert in
NEPA and EPA matters to represent the opposition to O'Hare expansion.
