Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on November 19. 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor reported a recent conversation with a representative of Home
Depot, who stated they have been waiting to see if the Super Kmart goes
bankrupt because the Biesterfield/Meacham location is preferable to Home
Depot over the Nerge/Meacham location. Home Depot will know the status
of Super Kmart by 3/15/03.
The Mayor noted there is interest in negotiating a deal with Walmart for the
Village to acquire the Walshin property to the north for additional
expansion and parking opportunities.
