Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on November 19, 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor reported that the Village Attorney negotiated the purchase of the
Rogers Park detention area at a cost of$35,000. Closing is scheduled for
mid-December.
The Mayor discussed the need to install lightning prediction and/or tornado
warning equipment at this site as it functions as a recreational area, and that
this acquisition will allow the Village to make improvements to provide for
future drainage improvements for the Business Park.
