Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on October 22. 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acqusition
The Mayor discussed the Village's acquisition of 3 acres of detention area
in the Rogers Industrial Park. The Village Attorney reported that a second
appraisal of the property is pending, and an offer price can be established
once the appraisal is available. Once the offer is made, the Village Attorney
suggested 10 days be provided to consider the offer before condemnation
proceedings commence. The Board discussed suggested prices to offer, to
be funded by the ICRC Fund. The consensus of the Board was to authorize
the Village Attorney to proceed with the acquisition of the property at a
price no greater than $40,000.
