The Mayor reported that SOC will likely hire Rotunda in the near future to represent their
lawsuit to the Supreme Court. The Mayor stated that sources in Washington, D.C.
believe the Aviation Expansion bill is currently dead in the Senate due to time constraints
and weakening support. SOC will now begin focusing on the gubernatorial race since the
election will likely precede further federal action on the O'Hare expansion issue.
The meeting adjourned at 8:09 p.m.
