Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 20, 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
AFLAC Insurance
The Personnel Committee reported that they reviewed a proposal by AFLAC to provide
Accidental Death and Dismemberment(AD&D) insurance.
The Committee recommends providing this service to Village employees with the
following provisions:
• The employee is responsible for all premiums
• Attendance at meetings is voluntary for the employee on their own time
• Payroll deductions will only take place if 10% of the employee population signs up
for the service
The Village will have no cost for the service.
The consensus of the Village Board was to offer the AFLAC program as stipulated by the
Personnel Committee.
