Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 20. 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit
Mayor Johnson reported that he met with the pastor of the Church. The Church is not
interested in selling the property or in trading the Village its property for the Village
property on Rohlwing Road.
The church is considering the construction of a new church structure with apartments
fronting Elk Grove Boulevard. The conceptual plan meets no Village open space
requirements and the pastor was so advised.
In addition, the Park District and the Elk Grove High School have both expressed an
interest in acquiring the open church property.
The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
