Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 23. 2002 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager addressed a report he distributed outlining the Village's current
financial outlook and his review of existing vacancies and action to not fill some vacant
positions.
Existing vacancies in the Police, Fire and Public Works Department can remain unfilled
with no impact on service to the community. The Village Manager intends to fill single-
classification positions such as the new Cable Production Coordinator and Community
Service Coordinator.
The Village Manager reported he will continue monitoring financial reports and update
the Board in coming months. He stated operations will be evaluated after experience
with the vacancies to ensure no reduction in service to the Community.
